Determined to SucceedDetermined to Succeed (DtS) is the Scottish Government’s strategy for enterprise education. It aims to help Scotland’s young people develop self-confidence, self-reliance and ambition to achieve their goals – in work and in life.
Enterprise education is about business and education working together. The shared ambition is to change young people’s attitudes - to work and to life.
DtS is not simply another initiative. It’s here to stay. Joined up working between the Scottish Government, local authorities and the business community will give every young person in Scotland the chance to experience enterprise education. To become determined to succeed.
Argyll and Bute Council aspires to continue the development and embedding of Determined to Succeed across all Argyll and Bute schools.

Aileen Goodall - EDO - Enterprise
Aileen Goodall is the Education Development Officer for Enterprise and Vocational Education. She liaises with all primary, secondary and learning centres across Argyll and Bute and assists staff in developing lessons and programmes that meet the four themes of Determined to Succeed.
