Cognitive Acceleration in Science Education

CASE(Cogntivie acceleration in science education) is a suite of thirty lessons based on the cognitive acceleration principle. King's Collegs London carried out research into CA lessons and found that pupil exam grades were increased if they had followed a CA programme of learning. There are cognitive acceleration programmes in a number of subject areas. CASE materials are available from Nelson Thornes. Cost approx £200.

SURE Animations for Higher Biology

SURE Animations for Higher Biology is now available. This is a high quality 3-D animation suite for SQA Higher Biology. The animations received a very enthusiastic response from teachers at the ASE Scotland conference in March 2009 and at the Institute of Biology meeting in Stirling in June 2009.
